Albert Ganier, III currently serves as president of PSMI, a successful financial consulting company. In the last four years, PSMI has organized the zoning and development of over $100 million in commercial, office and residential developments. His career includes founding two companies that are now listed on the NYSE, as well as founding Education Networks of America, which serves approximately 3 million children in several states. And, with experience in high levels of Congress, as well as having served on the staff of two US Presidents, he is no stranger to the inner workings of our government. George Slusser has helped acquire companies for all of the Realogy Brands, NRT, Merrill Lynch, GMAC, and many large independents. George has participated in more than 175 mergers and acquisitions representing individual purchase prices, ranging from a few thousand dollars to over $150 million. Gerald Schmidt’s business career began in 1966 with Jostens Inc. Most of Mr. Schmidt’s 20-year career at Jostens was spent building highly effective sales and marketing teams in three different divisions. After a pinnacle achievement – working with Peter Ueberroth to secure rights for Jostens to produce the medals for the ’84 Olympic Games – he retired from Jostens. Mr. Schmidt took a position as a partner in a merchant real estate development company developing over $250 million of commercial real estate in the surrounding Atlanta areas. He later co-founded and served as managing partner for Cordova Ventures, and has been responsible for building it into a premier venture company. He has been a featured speaker for organizations and universities on the topic “How Venture Capital Works…Separating Myth from Reality” and dedicates much of his time to serving his community with the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, and other business-related initiatives. more »
June Slussers years of experience in the real estate industry began in Arizona after managing, and then becoming an owner of a real estate company. June eventually sold her company and joined the national staff of a real estate franchise as a national trainer and broker consultant. June moved her career to NRT where as Executive Vice President she had sales and operational responsibility for a 30-office company in Northern New Jersey. In August of 2003, June purchased Coldwell Banker High Country Realty in the resort market of Blue Ridge, GA. more »
Mel Copen has spent part of his career working as an entrepreneur, a consultant and in major US corporations where he was responsible for strategic planning and international activities. Mel also has dedicated the balance of his career in the academia arena as a professor, dean, vice president and president primarily involved in business education. Currently he is Chairman of Copen Communications International a company founded to foster understanding and facilitate business and educational activities on an international basis. Mel has authored several books as well as many case studies and articles. more »
Michael Weiser, is a managing principal in the business advisory and accounting firm of Donner Weiser & Associates, P.C. and has more than 35 years of experience in audit and accounting matters, including specialties in business consulting and domestic litigation support.
